Bahamas-February 2012

On Friday (Feb 3) My family and I went on a family vacation to the Bahamas! We stayed until Tuesday (Feb 7) and it was one of the best trips! On Friday night when we arrived we went and checked into our rooms, went to dinner, and just wandered around showing the kids the beach and the fish.

Saturday- We woke up, went to breakfast, walked through the underground aquarium thing, went down to the beach a little, and took the kids to the kid pool to play. After playing in the pool for a while, we took naps, relaxed, then I took Kaia and Sienna to a thing called, "Atlantis Pals" where they got to build their own stuffed animals, then we got ready to go down to dinner and went to bed.

Sunday- Sunday we went down to breakfast then we pretty much did whatever. Sunday was tanner's last day so we went down to the beach for a while again, we went back to the rooms to let the kids nap, ate, then watched the super bowl and went to bed.

Monday- Monday morning I went and did a thing called Ultimate Trainer for a day from 10:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. I got to help train dolphins, swim with them, interact with the sea lions, feed nurse sharks, feed and kiss sting rays, and snorkel with the sting rays. While I did that, Nicole, mom, Kaia and Sienna went to do the shallow water interaction with the dolphins and My dad, Zach, and Dusky went scuba diving. Monday was a very fun day !

Tuesday- Tuesday we woke up, ate breakfast, went down to the pool so the kids could swim, layed in the sun, went on the river rapids ride, went and packed our backs, and headed to the airport to come home!

New Years, Birthday, January 2012

It's been a couple of weeks since I've written. For New years eve, Savannah Butler came over to my house and we watched Princess Diaries 2, A little bit of twilight, and we ate pizza. It was a very fun night to just relax and hang out with her. My birthday was on the 20th - about a week ago. For my birthday, I went to school in the morning, Visiting Teaching in the afternoon and later that night, My friends Stephanie Hogg and Caitlin Monday came over and we all went to The Cheesecake Factory with my mom and dad. My birthday was amazing!!

Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was very good. It was kind of a crazy one but it was good. We babysat the girls for the first part of the month so we didn't have a whole lot of time to prepare much. Tanner came to Georgia for christmas..He doesn't come too often, so when he does, it's pretty fun! I'm thankful that I have the family that I do. For christmas, I got an Ipad, cd's , clothes, gift cards, snowglobe, a couple of movies, and a shelf for my bathroom! I made the girls and Kyden each blankets for christmas and they turned out very cute! I'm proud of myself!

December 2011 -utah trip

I went to Utah with my parents this week. I had a lot of fun. My parents decided they needed to go out to deliver christmas gifts to family and friends, so I decided I wanted to go to see some of my friends because I have not seen them for a while. My mom and I got in on monday afternoon. When we got there, we went to Bajio's to eat lunch, went to the grocery store, rented a couple movies, then went home to watch the movies and sleep! We were so tired! - I went to bed the first night at 7:30 pm! On Tuesday, We went to lunch at Paula's with Kristi, Tricia, and Grandma. After lunch, Kami and Ashley invited me to go to the mall shopping with them after which we went to Terynn's house to make gingerbread houses. Later tuesday night, I went to visit my other cousin Kristi..she moved into my old, old house! On wednesday, I went to lunch at Applebees with Jessica visser, my dad, mom, and I went to dinner with danny, wendy, Lana, and paul, then Lexi came over and we had a nice chat and watched home alone. On thursday morning we got up, packed, got ready, and came home. It was a lovely trip! Now tanner is here and we are getting ready for christmas!!

School-Fall 2011

I Just noticed I haven't posted about school at all this semester - I can't believe it! Well this semester is finally over, but I'll post about it now! This semester was crazy and a few of my classes were very difficult!! I was taking Math, English, Jogging, and Western Civ. My Math and English classes were very difficult for me! I have been working very hard this semester..I got my final grades back about a week ago..I feel ok about my grades for the most part..Funny how you can take a test and feel pleased with how you did until you get the results back...Its Christmas time and I'm out of school for a month..So right now things are great! I will be working very hard next semester. I will be taking Math, Biology, History, and Physical Education. Between Math and Biology, I will have my hands full, but I know I can do it as long as I focus and work hard. I can't believe its almost christmas time already! 8 more days! This year has gone by SO fast!! It hasn't been the best year..but next year will be better, right?? Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

Deer Hunt & Halloween 2011

It's been a couple weeks since I've updated. We all went out to the cabin on Kolob for the Deer hunt! It was lots of fun! No one caught a deer but it was fun to all be together. My friend, Jessica Visser came with me and we hung out. We took Kaia, Sienna, and Eja on lots of rides on the ranger and just had a nice time relaxing up on the mountain. Kaia and Sienna LOVED jessica!! I was just out in Utah for the weekend- I went out friday and came home on sunday night, so it was short and sweet. Tasha, Zach, Kyden, and I flew home sunday night and didn't get into Atlanta till 6am so I had to drive straight from the airport to school. That was one long and not so good day! Kaia's birthday was on the 29th! I can't believe I've been an aunt for 5 years!! Kaia and Sienna had a soccer game on Kaia's birthday. Later that evening we let her open a few presents and we ate lasagna and cake and Ice Cream (birthday girls orders). For halloween, I hung out with my friend Savannah Butler and we went over to the Avenue in Peachtree City. We walked around and looked at stuff in all the stores then we got some Ice Cream. It's crazy to think October is over and now we're on to November! (:

Wow, It's been a while since I last updated my blog!! School is going well and keeping me busy!!
Nicole has a friend from work who needed to practice on hair so I let her do Ombre highlights in my hair and I love it! It looks SO cute!!

This Last weekend on October 15th Zach, Tasha, and I all ran in the PTC classic. Tasha and I did the Womens 5K and Zach did the 15K. We all did very good. Tasha got 28 minutes, I got 38 minutes and 21 seconds, and Zach got 1 hour and 7 minutes. It was so much fun-I'm very proud of myself. I've been working hard and I feel as if I'm getting faster, I have better running posture and running doesn't tire me out like it used to. On saturday afternoon after the race, My dad had a family ASA thing at his work. it was very fun- I got to see and hang out with Jaclyn-we played games and won prizes for Kaia, Sienna, and Eja, I bought a shirt, then we got some snowcones!
Yesterday, Monday, October 17, we let Kaia and Sienna have a little halloween party-family came and so did carrie and Lexi. It was lots of fun! we ate brains(spaghetti), bones(breadsticks), eyeballs(grapes) and drank vampire blood(red juice). We all dressed up-I was a bumblebee! Then we played some games: Witch hat toss, and pin the smile to the skeleton! That's all for now! I will update my blog later! (:

A week ago on August 12, I was swimming in the pool with my Family. Nicole, Zach, Tasha, Grandma, Kyden, and the girls were here to swim and Sienna was jumping off of the hot tub into the pool. Sienna hates going under water so Nicole usually catches her-about the third time she did it Nicole couldn't catch her because she was holding Kyden so I went over to Catch her. She jumped farther than I thought she would and she landed on me and her chin hit my nose. At first we thought it was possibly broken but it wasn't, thank goodness but it was banged up pretty good. I woke up Saturday morning with a nice black eye. Pictures are posted Below

Yesterday, July 12, 2011 I got my Wisdom Teeth out at some dentist place in Griffin! Getting your Wisdom Teeth out is not fun! My surgeon was nice and very fast! took him about half an hour. I started to get a little nervous when they put a mask thing on my face, so I asked what it was and One of the ladies told me It was Laughing gas-Then dr Paul stuck the needle in my arm and told me he was going to put anesthesia in it then i would start getting really tired. I started to get dizzy. I asked Dr. Paul how long it would take, he said, "half an hour" and BAM! I was out! that's the last thing I remember! I then woke up in a different room and my mom was in there! I asked how I got in there and the Lady said, "Believe it or not you actually walked in here!" apparently I had a hard time waking up, but once I woke up, they put me in a wheel chair and wheeled me out to the car. I was awake the whole ride home but not too loopy! I was in a lot of pain yesterday-I finally took some Ibuprofen with the pain pills which helped and now we are able to keep the pain mostly under control. I'm in a little pain today but not nearly as bad as yesterday. I'm not too swollen, i'm starting to bruise a tiny bit, but the bleeding has stopped. I've had a sore throat and a little bit of an ear ache yesterday-which is probably normal. Chocolate milk works wonders for sore throats and Tube socks work great as Ice packs!

Hey All! It's june and I am just enjoying my summer! I just got back from spending two weeks in Utah! it's always fun to go back every now and again! I really enjoy getting to see my old friends and stay in my old house for a while! we went to lake powell, which of course was very fun! It wasn't as warm as it usually is. At night it got pretty cold and windy - there was one day where it was cold, cloudy, and windy all day..which really makes for crappy water. Other than that it was still fun! the water was cold but it was pretty easy to get used to. I got to hang out with my best friend Kalli while i was out in utah and we watched a movie!! Sh'Kell went to the lake with me which was fun as well. I took my dog out to Utah with me and she loved it! I'm so happy to be home for a while! a few pictures from the trip are posted Below! Enjoy!

I haven't updated my blog for a while! School is out for the summer. I'm not going to take any summer classes because I want to take a break! I have oficially finished my first semester of college and I think I did very good! I know I got an "A" in math! i'm not quite sure what my other two grades are yet, but I think I did really good! For easter, Sh'kell, kelly, and Amber were out here to visit. Sh'kell slept over wednesday night and on friday night. on saturday we hid easter eggs for the kids and they had an easter egg, swam in the pool, and had a pic nick! It was a lot of fun! This weekend my grandma is here. We've let the kids go swimming a lot this weekend because my Dad heated up the swimming pool again! Kaia, Sienna, and Eja love the pool! today is Mothers day! I'm so thankful for my mom! I'm so grateful for everything she has done for me and I could not possibly ask for a better mom! Happy mothers day to Nicole and Tasha as well! they are both amazing mothers to my beautiful nieces and nephew!

I haven't updated for a while!!! a lot has happened since my last post! College is going good. I'm getting good grades and have about a month left of my first semester! Eja celebrated her first birthday at the end of February and Sienna celebrated her third birthday in March! I can't believe my nieces are growing up SO fast!! Kyden is dang cute! he has the biggest smile and pulls the best faces with his eyebrows!

well, It's so crazy, but i'm a college student now!
so far college is going pretty good. I have nothing to complain about. I met a pretty good friend named Ryan. Right now I'm only taking three classes to start out with so i don't have to deal with so much stress!I have English on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10-10:50 am. I have Theatre appreciation on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 2-3:15, and I have Math on Mondays-Thursdays from 1-1:50. I had to write my First paragraph for english that was due on wednesday. We got our paragraphs back on Friday and I got a B+! We have our first Math test on monday, so Ive got some homework and studying to do this weekend! I'm hoping I get a good grade on that!

A few days after christmas I went to Utah with my Mom and Dad for a few days. It was a lot of fun. I got to see some of my best friends that I haven't seen for a couple months so it was a lot of fun to see them and we got to exchange christmas gifts and hang out. My friend jessica gave me my birthday present and on my last full day in utah we all went to breakfast at Ihop! We had a blast!

Christmas- 2010

Well, today is christmas. I can't believe it is almost the new year already. 2010 has gone by so fast! but 2011 will be a great year! for christmas this year i got everything i wanted. today has been a great day. Santa brought me: A new laptop, CD's, a snowglobe, gum, itunes gift cards, and candy. From mom and dad i got lots of clothes, mom had Lana draw a picture of me with the savior, boots, a thing for my ipod that hooks up to my car so i can listen to my ipod through the radio, and two books from heritage makers that mom put together for me. she went through all my journals and scrap books and put everything together in a book professional looking scrap book. Tanner gave me a gray sweater, Nicole, dusky, and the girls gave me warm fuzzy socks and a card, and Zach and Tasha gave me a sweatshirt. Today has been a wonderful christmas and to make my christmas better, it has just began snowing not too long ago. I guess I will get my white christmas that I have always wanted before I go to bed tonight.

He is the most beautiful baby boy ever. Zach and Tasha did a wonderful job. Kyden was 7lbs and 1oz. I love my new nephew. Zach and Tasha are the cutest parents and they have done such a wonderful job at being parents in just the short time they've been parents. (:

I guess since it is almost thanksgiving I should write a little bit about everything I am Thankful for! I have been blessed with so much in my life.

I am thankful for my Family! They all do so much for me!
Mom: I am thankful for my mom because I know she is there for me whenever I need her and she does so much for me. I have the best mom anyone could ever ask for.
Dad: I am thankful for my dad because of all he does for me. He has done so much for me to help provide a place to live and clothes to wear and food to eat. I know my parents are there for me no matter what and will always love me.
Nicole: I am thankful for my sister nicole and for everything she does. she has always been one of my best friends and I know she's always there and can help me when i need her to be.
Zach: Zach is amazing. i love zach. i'm thankful for zach because ever since i was little he has always been there for me and i know that he will help me with anything i need help with in life.
Tanner: I am thankful for tanner because he has helped me a lot. we do fight sometimes but i know he loves me and is always there for me. I'm so glad i have the family that i have. I couldn't ask for a better family!!
Dusky: Dusky is my crazy brother in law. He's a dork but i'm thankful for him because he's nice and caring and he always makes me laugh at anything he does.
Tasha: Tasha is so sweet. I love her. She's a wonderful sister in law and she makes a perfect wife for zach!

I am thankful for my nieces!

Kaia: Kaia has such a personality of her own. ever since the day she was born she has been beautiful. Kaia is growing up so fast. she's one of the cutest little girls i have ever seen. Kaia is so tiny but she uses such big words. she just turned four and is going to preschool. in just the short time she's been going to preschool, she has learned so much! I'm so thankful for Kaia!

Sienna: Sienna is So beautiful! sienna is such a loving little girl. Sienna has always hugged me and wanted me to hold her right when i walk in the door. Sienna is very smart and is also growing up way too fast! I can't believe she is almost three! She gets to go to kaia's preschool next year. She loves her sister's and She's so sweet. I'm so thankful for Sienna! She makes me laugh every day!

Eja: Eja is such a fat baby! she's so happy and loves to smile and laugh!!! Everytime i see Eja she is either smiling or laughing. I don't see her crying too often and when she does cry she has a dang good reason. Eja is so stinking cute and such a spoiled little girl! she is learning how to get just what she wants! I love Eja so much! every time i see her I think to myself, "Eja is the cutest baby girl i have EVER seen" I'm so blessed to have such cute and amazing nieces. they bring joy into my life everyday!

Friends-- (no particular order)

Jaclyn: After I moved to Georgia at the Beginning of my junior year, i had Jaclyn's Aunt Mrs McQueen, she was my U.S History teacher. She introduced me to Jaclyn and ever since we have been best friends. Jaclyn is so nice and such a sweet girl. she has always been there for me. We have the most random conversations but no matter what we do or what we talk about we are always entertained. I love Jaclyn and I'm so thankful for her in my life.

Caitlin: Caitlin and I became friends after i returned to school after having my spinal surgery my senior year. Caitlin And i have been best friends and really close ever since. Caitlin and i laugh and have fun even when we sit around and do nothing. every time we hang out we create even more and more memories. I'm so blessed to have such a sweet, wonderful, and caring friend like her in my life!

Alisa: Lisa and I have been best friends since 8th grade. I'm so blessed to have met her. she was one of my very first friends in 8th grade and has been my best friend ever since. We always have fun no matter what we do. we have so many inside jokes. we became friends in a very unique/ weird way but I'm so blessed to have her in my life! I love her so much!!!!

Leonie: I met Leonie right after i moved to GA. She was an exchange student from Germany and she was living with my neighbors so we became very good friends. she is such an amazing, smart, and beautiful person. I am so glad I got the chance to meet her! It was really nice having leonie here and it felt good to know that we were both "new to georgia" so we could get to know the place together! I'm so blessed to have leonie in my life and i would do anything for her!

Singles Ward

On Sunday I went to the Singles Ward for my first time. I got Mandy Mendoza to go with me. It was good. I didn't Absolutely love my first week there, but I didn't Dislike it. I need to go for a couple more weeks to decide if I really like it or not. I did meet some nice people though. The singles ward is so much smaller than our home ward so it was quite different haha. My mom gave me one of my christmas presents early which was the dress i'm wearing in the picture above because she wanted me to wear it to the Singles ward!

Alaska- July 2010

In July, My family and I went to Alaska for a few days to stay on our motorhome that we have been keeping out there. It was a fun trip. I caught two big fish. we used waiters and went down in the water to fish and it was really cool because our clothes did not get wet but we could still feel the water. the water was very cold so when we were done fishing it would take a while to get warm again. Alaska was pretty cold and it was very rainy the whole trip. but other than that it was a very fun trip!

Lake Powell

My family and I just got back from one of our yearly trips out to Lake Powell! It was a lot of fun. we headed out friday(July 9) til Monday (july 12). It was a lot of fun. This year I invited my friend Jaclyn! we had a lot of fun!!! I'm so thankful to have such amazing people in my life! on monday on our way to st george we stopped by the junction to eat then we drove to my house in utah to get ready and cleaned up. then we drove to vegas to stay the night and we had to wake up at 3:15 am in order to make in onto the first flight from vegas to ATL at 6:00 am. we all flew standby but thankfully ALL 6 of us made the flight!

Senior year

My senior year has been awesome and has gone by so fast.
I missed the first month due to my surgery...all my teachers were wonderful and helped me so much when i returned to school.I liked all my classes. I passed all my classes. I have been working my butt off so I could graduate. I met a lot of new people. I had wonderful teachers and I love my life.

Thanksgiving 2009-
This year for thanksgiving our whole Holt side of the family got together. It was so much fun. We have not all been together as a family for a while. These pictures are pictures I took. The bottom one is, Ashley and I. The Middle one is Emma and I. And the top one is Emma and Kaia. Kaia had so much fun with Emma. Kaia would pretend she was seeing "tiny monsters" and she would make Emma go monster hunting with her.
I love my friends and family and I am so very thankful to have such wonderful people in my life. I have no idea what I would do without them.
Also we had a christmas party with my mom's side of the family which was also a very lot of fun!

London

Last weekend my whole family and I went to London. We all had so much fun and we were not ready to come home yet. we left on friday night and it was a nine hour flight. we arrived in london at about 7am on saturday morning. when we arrived we took our stuff to our hotel then we all met up and went to eat. we did a whole bunch of touring on saturday and sunday then we came home on monday. Kaia and Sienna were such good little girls. Sienna was sick so she was onery. but other than that they both were fantastic little girls.

Me, My mom, and My dad went to Louisiana a couple weeks ago to see Nicole and the girls. we have been missing the girls. My dad took a picture of my mom with the girls and kaia was being cute and goofing off during the picture and sienna was being cute and gave the camera a BIG smile. I love my nieces.

The week of July 27, 2009 i had spinal surgery. at 6:00 in the morning on july 27 we had to arrive to primary childrens hospital for my surgery at 7:30 a.m. My dad, mom, and i sat in the waiting room until they called us in to get into my hospital gown and give us information to expect that week then they got me on my stretcher and we waited until time to go into the OR. i was very nervous so a dr came and gave me this medicane stuff through an I.V that calmed me down and really got me talking away on the way to the OR. The surgery was four hours but it seemed like two seconds. i do not remember going into the recovery room the only thing i remember is waking up after surgery in my room with my parents. I don't remember a whole lot about the surgery except the fact that i was mor awake than everyone thought i would be.
Day 1: day one i woke up. i had had a hard night and my back got stiff a lot from staying in the same position. my nurses came in every 4 hours to give me my pain medication and check on me. around 9:00 am. my physical therapist came in for the first time and had me sit up on the edge of my bed and then stand up and go sit in the recliner. i had taken too much pain medication before the physical therapist came in so when i moved over to the chair i passed out so they got me back in bed. I slept a lot and began texting. later in the afternoon the physical therapist came back in and we did the same thing but this time i did not pass out, i ended up sitting in the chair for about 15 minutes. My visitors today were aunt Tana, Aaron, Kyle, and Morgan
Day 2: Today i woke up. my night was somewhat easier than the night before. my nurses still came in every once in a while to check on me, see if i needed anything, and give me my pain medication. around 9:00 am my physical therapist came in to help me do exersizes. today we sat on the edge of the bed, walked out into the hall, and satin the chair for 30 minutes. today was a good day although like most surgeries, i had some pain. My visitors today were Kelsey, Laurell, her husband and kids, and Rachel smartt's daughter. I recieved a lot of flowers throughout the day. everyone says my room smells very good.
Day 3: today i woke up. my night had gone ok. i had kind of a restless night but i managed. the nurses came in every couple hours, once again to check on me, see if i needed anything, and give me my pain medication. around 9:00 to 10:00 am my physical therapist came. today my physical therapist and i walked up and down the hall which wore me out so we went to my room and i sat in a chair for 30 minutes then i got in bed. my visitors today were: zach, tasha,grandma, and tanner.
Day 4: Today i woke up. my night was once again kind of restless. the machine in my room was "haunted" so it went off a lot and the nurses cam in every hour or so to check to me, see if i needed anything, and give me my pain medication. at 6:00 am all week the nurses came in and had to draw blood so that made me a little upset because it was always right after i had fallen into a good sleep. my visitors were the same visitors i had yesterday, Zach, Tasha, Grandma, and Tanner. they stayed for a while then ended up leaving so i was on my own with my parents. my physical therapist today made me go up and down the stairs, that was hard.
Day 5: today i woke up. the nurses gave me pain medication and took out all my tubes and IV's and told us we could go home around 2:00. my dad went and got our RV in which we were riding home in, my nurse gave me a shower and got me in my pajamas and then they got all my stuff packed, got me in a wheel chair and we left the hospital.
I am now home and recovering. i think i'm getting stronger and better everyday. i still don't have much of an appetite but that's ok. the ride home in the RV was way too much to handle. it hurt. every bump hurt me so bad.

I have been taking a sewing class for a few months now and so far i have made pajama pants, a skirt, a zip up bag, and a purse. the week of July 13-17, 2009 was sewing camp..i went everyday for two hours. Now that i know how to sew things I love sewing and i'm so willing to sew anything as long as I have a pattern and i know what i'm doing.

This is me and my friend leonie..she is living next door..she is an exchange student from germany. she is leaving in a few days. i have had a lot of fun with her while she has been here and i wish she could stay longer.

I went to the eye doctor and they put eye drops in my eyes to make them dialate. look at the difference between my left and right eyes.

We moved to georgia in june, so far i am likeing it a lot, i've met a lot of friends and people are very nice out here. our house is beautiful.
